SOS defense is an association composed of lawyers and lawyers.

We work free of charge and on a voluntary basis.

We help you identify your legal problems, understand your rights and obligations. We guide you on the actions to be taken.

During a first telephone exchange, you will be able to explain your situation to a lawyer. He or she will analyze your file, give you a first legal opinion and tell you, if necessary, the steps to consider.

When the situation justifies it, we can also offer you a short-term appointment with a lawyer that you will meet for a more in-depth discussion.

Our premises are in Lausanne and this is where the interviews take place.

You can call us at 079 407 40 40, every day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday (24/7).

We do not answer calls directly. Your number is registered and we will call you back within 48 hours to talk to you about your situation and your legal questions.

Who can benefit from our services?

All people in a situation of precariousness, vulnerability or insecurity, facing legal problems in the canton of Vaud.

1. Swiss without resources (net income below 4,000.- for one person, 4'800.- for 2 people, 5'600.- for 3 people). Above, we admit that you have the financial means to consult a lawyer from the Ordre des Avocats Vaudois.

2. Foreigners with a permit, without resources (net income below 4,000.- for one person, 4'800.- for 2 people, 5'600.- for 3 people).
